MADE IN ZAATARI

The first documentary from a okng term project in Zaatari refugee camp with Proessor Helen Story from the UAL Centre of Sustainable Fashion.

The story follows the building of a workshop for woman and girls in the camp to teach entrepreureal skills and to set up a Made In Zaatari brand for the products they create.

GRANTHAM CENTRE FOR SUSTAINABLE FUTURES

A short documentary revealing how The Grantham Centre For Sustainable Futures and Syrian refugees are co-creating sustainable solutions to life at Zaatari Refugee Camp. From growing food on old mattresses, to creating prototype windmills from old bicycle parts.

CUT

Cut is a social enterprise with a goal to take knives from the streets and turn them into buttons and rivets for bespoke jeans and trai youth from disadvantages background entrepreneurial skills.

TRACES: STORIES OF MIGRATION

A short docuemntary capturing a year long project by researcher and artist Lucy Orta that unites the memories and experiences of migrants to reveal the stories of our local communities articulated through story telling and textiles workshops.
